Julian Bailey (born 1963) studied art at the Ruskin School while at New College , Oxford, before moving to the Royal Acadamy Schools, where he was awarded the Turner Gold Medal and later the Landseer Scolarship. He regurlarly exhibits at Browse and Darby, London and the Mall Galleries.

Julian gets much of his inspiration from the scenery and coast of Dorset where he now lives with his family.
