Michael Harrison

Michael was born in 1943 and studied at Academie Julien (Post Impressionist Atelier) Paris 1962/1963

His recent works have gained the following comments: What an oil painting should be - immediate impression in clear colour and concise composition

Lovely colours, textures, and recession, and I like the wide format.

A lovely work. You have infused a lot of atmosphere into a simple landscape scene

Lovely looseness in the paint strokes that creates a great feel for the place. I particularly like the blue drift of the flax in this one

there is such a feel for the place in this that if it wasn't painted plein air, you have a quite remarkable visual memory.
